Summary:
Provides direct support services to school personnel in the set-up, operation, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of computers and computer-related equipment and software located within the school division.
Qualifications:
• Must be able to function as an integral member of a team in a fast paced multi-tasking work environment and be able to shift priorities as necessary.
• Must be able to provide outstanding customer service.
• Must be able to independently research and resolve technical issues using online self-study, vendor help desks, and other resources.
• Must have strong work ethic, desire to grow professionally, and demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
• Degree/Certification in computer technology or related field preferred. Industry certifications preferred.
• Significant experience in the installation and support of a variety of networked devices operating in a Windows Active Directory domain.
• Significant experience in the installation, configuration, management and troubleshooting of a variety of applications and software.
• Significant experience in the installation, imaging, configuration, management, troubleshooting, and repair of: PC compatible workstation computer systems, laptops, wireless devices, printers, and managed mobile devices such as Chromebooks and iPads.
• Ability to terminate, test, and troubleshoot network connections.
• Driver's license with good driving record required.
• Ability to lift and maneuver computer and network equipment required.
Salary:
Salary range for the 2024-2025 school year is $20.33 - $45.96 per hour depending upon qualifications and experience.

Full time/12 month position/260 days
