Summary:
Primary responsibility is to provide special education services for high school students in an inclusion environment. The qualified candidate will have a background in working with high school students who have learning disabilities.
Qualifications:
Applicants should hold a Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in Special Education K-12 General Curriculum or Specific Learning Disabilities K-12, or be eligible for such. Emphasis on candidates who are highly qualified in one or more core content areas.
Salary:
Range for the 2022-2023 school year is $48,300 - $71,278 with additional supplemental pay for a graduate degree. The salary range may be adjusted based on the 2023-2024 budget. Fully licensed successful candidate eligible for $5,000 signing incentive and a $5,000 VRS qualified stipend.
