Summary:

Works with students, staff, and administration to improve students' literacy skills and to develop and implement a long-range plan for literacy improvement at Daniel Morgan Middle School.
 

Qualifications:

• Applicants should hold a Virginia teaching license with a Reading Specialist K-12 endorsement or be eligible for such.
• Special Education endorsement and/or experience teaching students receiving Special Education services preferred.
• Must have at least three years of successful classroom teaching experience in which the teaching of reading was an important responsibility. 

Salary:  
Range for the 2019-2020 school year is $42,880 to $75,191 with additional supplemental pay for a graduate degree.  Salary will be adjusted to reflect the 2020-2021 budget.

Workday:

Full time / 10 month/ 200 Day Contract
