Summary:
Primary responsibility is to teach, in an inclusion setting, students receiving special education services. Position will be shared between Frederick Douglass Elementary School and the Daniel Morgan campus. The preferred candidate will have a background in working with students with autism.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be eligible for or hold a Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in Special Education K-12 General Curriculum. Position requires experience and/or additional certification or training in autism. Formal training with ABA is highly desired.
Salary:
Range based on the 2017-2018 Teacher Salary Scale is $41,400 - $74,801 with additional supplemental pay for a graduate degree.
