Summary:

Primary responsibility is teaching History at the high school level.  

Qualifications:

Applicants must be eligible for a Virginia teaching license with a History and Social Sciences.  License eligibility may be met through any of the following routes: 

• Completed an approved teacher preparation program in history;
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in history from an accredited institute

Salary:

Range based on the 2024-2025 Teacher Salary Scale is $53,000 - $79,287 with additional supplemental pay for a graduate degree.
