Summary:

The Dual Language Immersion Program integrates native English speaking students with native Spanish speaking students for elementary academic instruction, which is presented in both languages.  Social and academic learning occurs in an environment that values the language and culture of all students and sets high standards to ultimately achieve academic success in Spanish and English. 

Qualifications:

Applicants must be eligible for or hold a Virginia teaching license with an Elementary endorsement. Applicants must be fluent in both Spanish and English in reading, writing and speaking and must have an understanding of culture and history of Spanish-speaking people and countries. Past experience teaching in an elementary dual language immersion program preferred.

Salary:  
Range based on the 2020-2021 Teacher Salary Scale is $42,880 - $75,191 with additional supplemental pay for a graduate degree.
